Modern cars use one of two refrigerant gases, R134a or R1234yf, and they can’t be mixed. At Autobar Bosch Car Service we use two separate machines rather than a single dual machine, one dedicated to each gas. That removes any risk of cross-contamination between the two and keeps each system serviced with exactly the gas it was designed for.
